Omnibus directive - strengthening consumer’s rights online

 

On April 3, 2023, Law nr. 10/2023 of 3 March was published. This law completed the transposition of the Omnibus Directive (Directive 2019/2161, of the European Parliament and of the Council) into Portuguese law. This directive strengthens the rights of online consumers, with a view to greater transparency of information.

Extension of the deadline for submitting the annual Corporate Income Tax Return

Order no. 176/2024-XXIII of the former Secretary for Tax Affairs extends the deadline for submitting model 22 corporate income tax returns for the 2023 tax period to 15 July 2024, without any penalty being applied. Nuno Filipe Henriques
